SXSW 2008 Auditorium Shores
Limits Music Festival veteran I have never been to SXSW. This doesn’t really qualify as experiencing, but going to The Auditorium Shores Stage was still a good time. It was a short night that was over around 9:30 but still had good music with The Sadies, Eliza Gilkyson and The BoDeans. That is the first time that I have been to a concert at Auditorium Shores and the Austin city skyline in the background was amazing.
I always find it amusing and a sure sign that I am in Austin when you are at a live music venue and as the sun starts to go down the aroma in the air transitions from funnel cake to marijuana. Based on how close you are to the stage you are almost guaranteed to get a contact high. You gotta’ love this place.
